This topic is predominantly a geographical and historical study. The children use atlases to locate Greece on a world map. They find out about life in everyday Greece, including education, homes and food.

We even have a Greek day when everyone dresses up and participates in Greek dancing, traditional food tasting and clay pot making. We look at the history of the Olympics and the legacy of the Ancient Greeks.

The children research the many Greek Gods and Goddesses and their influence on everyday life.
